Call for Applications: international stages of the “Charitable Ukraine 2025” Competition

The Organizing Committee of the National Competition “Charitable Ukraine 2025” is now accepting applications for its international stages, established to recognize foreign philanthropists, volunteers, organisations, and Ukrainian communities abroad that provide humanitarian, financial, and organisational support to Ukraine.

This initiative is intended to honour Ukraine’s international friends for their continued solidarity, strengthen partnerships between Ukrainian and foreign charitable organisations, foster connections among communities, promote a culture of giving beyond Ukraine’s borders, and support the development of philanthropy as an important component of the country’s economic and social resilience.

The international stages of the competition have already been announced in Germany and Poland – “Charity Deutschland – für die Ukraine” (in germany) and “Razem bez Granic – Polska dla Ukrainy.” (in polish) All applications submitted to the international stages will automatically be considered in the national category “Support from Abroad.”

The international stages are held in four categories: “Philanthropist of the Year – Non-Governmental Organisation,” “Philanthropist of the Year – Individual,” “Ukrainians for Their Homeland,” and “Kindness Begins with You.” These categories include officially registered organisations, individual philanthropists, representatives of Ukrainian communities in the host countries, as well as children’s and youth initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine or promoting philanthropy.

Applications for the international stages will be accepted until 20 May 2026. Winners will receive the honorary distinction “Angel of Good,” while laureates will receive diplomas.

The project is implemented in partnership with Ukrainian communities, the Embassies of Ukraine, businesses, and media partners, and serves as an important step toward institutionalising international charitable support for Ukraine during wartime.
